Description:
If you love essential oils and love using them in your practice, this is the class for you! Discover new essential oils and learn their botanical names, their country of origin, their a therapeutic benefits and their most common uses in massage therapy. Learn how to use them effectively and safely. Learn which essential oils they blend well with and how to incorporate them into an aromatherapy massage.
Oils being covered: Amyris, Bay Laurel, Cajeput, Copaiba, Cistus, Elemi, Litsea, Manuka, Palmarosa, Palo Santo, Pink Pepper, Ravensara, Rosalina, Silver Fir and Yarrow.

Jennifer obtained her Aromatherapy certification from the NY Institute of Aromatic Studies and her massage training from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany, NY. She has been practicing as both an aromatherapist and massage therapist for over 8 years. As a clinically certified aromatherapist, Jennifer is considered an expert in her field regarding essential oils. She is a professional member of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists and teaches several essential oil classes to massage therapists, bodyworkers and holistic healers. Jennifer is very passionate about essential oil education and brings that passion into every essential oil class she teaches. Jennifer is the owner and operator of Saratoga Aromatherapy and has a successful private massage practice.

FREE for members. Preregistration required, walk-ins will not be admitted. You must be an AMTA member to attend.
CEHs and certificates will be granted only to those who register and attend the entire class. No partial credit will be awarded.

We welcome all licensed massage therapists and currently enrolled massage therapy students to our classes, however per New York State law, you must have a New York State massage therapy license to participate in the hands-on portions. (Currently enrolled students may participate in hands-on if accompanied by their school instructor.)
