Description:

Employing proper and efficient body mechanics may be the one most important skill that a massage therapist can employ for career longevity as well as effective orthopedic treatment of our clients, and therefore a long and successful career.
We can never eliminate all stress from our body when doing massage, but we can minimize it with proper body mechanics. Unfortunately, many therapists have never had the opportunity to learn truly effective body mechanics.
This workshop will teach you how to work from your core, how to most effectively position your feet, how to stack joints, how to generate force from larger and more powerful muscle groups, and how to work with the height of the table and the various contacts to accomplish effective clinical orthopedic manual therapy and ensure career longevity!
You will not need to bring your tables as the Swedish Institute will provide these.  Please Do bring your linens and lubricant.
