Class Description:
If you want a body part to feel and move better, make sure it can glide and/or rotate. To me, the smooth, easy action of restoring glide to joints is more important than end range of motion work. It’s also less work, and less frustrating, since you’re not pressing into the client’s passive or active resistance. Gliding mobilization is often preferable to the abrupt chiropractic adjustment because it can be done while the client is in a state of conscious ease and pleasure.

Rotation is a pure glide motion. So glide and rotation are always linked: the one helps the other.

In this class, you’ll learn easy, gentle methods for improving glide and rotation. You’ll also learn the surprising places that most rotation of the body come from, and how to improve ease and motion at the knee, ribcage, and many more traditional sites of pain complaint.

This is a hands-on class. Bring lubricant, a pillowcase, paper and pen, and dress in comfortable clothes in which you feel comfortable being worked on and seen. tables will be provided
