Postural Analysis for Massage Therapists-Tupper Lake-Early registration extended until March 5!
Sunday, March 22, 2020, 8:30am-5:30pm
Knights of Columbus
36 High St.
Tupper Lake, NY 12986
Presenter: George Russell
This class combines the details of close postural analysis – standing, supine and prone – with attention to overall tension and joint restriction patterns in the body that give rise to pain and other issues for the client. Then you’ll learn specific manual techniques to address postural problems. We’ll look at ourselves to assess overall gravity strategy, learn to see posture on the table, and discern – from what our clients say – the mechanical, emotional, psychosocial stresses that are contributing to pain and limitation. Students will learn to see whole patterns in the body and address them both systematically and specifically.
This is a hands on class, please bring your table, linens, and lubricant.
