NY Chapter’s Annual Massage School Student’s Essay Contest

1st Prize: $1,000    2nd Prize: $600    3rd Prize: $400



It’s easy to enter; just pick a topic, follow the guidelines below AND submit your essay before February 16, 2024.


TOPICS:


(Pick one of the following)


    

  • Membership Organization:  What does it mean to you and the profession to hold a membership with a professional organization?
    • 

  • Volunteer/Outreach:  Speak to the relevance of participating in volunteer work or outreach projects to yourself and the field of massage therapy.
    • 

  • Ethics:  What are ethics and how do they relate to massage therapy?
    • 

  • Future of Massage:  Capture and provide a view of the future relating to the massage profession.
    • 

  • Research:  What is the value of research (can be specific to an area of research)?
    •

  •  One entry per person

  •  500 words or less
    • 

  •  Double Spaced
    • 

  •  MS Word, plain text, or pdf
    • 

  •  Enrolled in NYS/DOE school
    •

  •  Include full name, phone #,  email, address, school name/address, and graduation date

WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE NY CHAPTER CONVENTION DINNER, SATURDAY, APRIL 20!


Award disbursements will be sent directly to your school.
