Class Description:
This Upledger course will introduce you to the anatomy and physiology of the CranioSacral System through our practical hands-on “learning by discovery” method. You will learn advanced palpatory skills, fascial and soft tissue release techniques, and a concise 10-step protocol for evaluation and treatment of the entire body via the CranioSacral System.
-This is a hands-on class, please bring your table, sheets and lubricant.

-Class size limited to 36.

Pre-Study: The required reading before this course is Chapters 1-6 in CranioSacral Therapy (CSTI) and Your Inner Physician and You (IPAY). Please contact IAHE, 800.311.9204, if you have any questions on the books or the required reading.

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes the first day to register and set up

Cancellation:
CEH’s will be granted only to those who register and attend the entire class. No partial credit can/will be awarded.
Cancellations of more than 14 days prior to a class are eligible for a refund minus a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations less than 14 days are not refundable, but monies less a $100 processing fee may be applied to any future AMTA-NY Chapter event. No shows are not eligible for refund or use on future classes. Cancellations are based on post mark or email date and all. cancellations must be in writing. Exceptions made only with approval of the AMTA-NY Chapter Board of Directors. Continuing Education Credit Certificates given only upon successful completion of class. No partial credit is allowed. Partial refunds for non-completed classes given only in emergency situations and with Chapter President’s approval.

COVID Precautions and Safety:
Volunteers and attendees will be required to adhere to the most current CDC recommendations as well as state, local, and venue requirements in effect at the time of the event.

IAHE is responsible for issuing credit for NYS CE’s and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) , #025785-00. The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) is an Approved Provider for continuing Education by the NYSED Office of the Professions State Board for Massage Therapy (#009).

We welcome all NYS licensed massage therapists, NYS professionals who are licensed to provide massage (physicians, nurses, podiatrists, physical therapists, chiropractors) and currently enrolled massage therapy students to our classes. Per New York State law, you must either have a New York State license to participate in the hands-on portions or, in the case of massage therapy students, be directly supervised by your instructor or other licensed massage therapist.

Parking: Parking is $5/day in the hotel lot. This lot is located kitty-corner across the street from the hotel and directly across the street from the lot labeled “Hotel Syracuse.”
Please bring your parking ticket with you into class and a sticker will be issued to reduce your parking cost.

** Please be aware, the hotel lot is NOT the lot adjacent to the hotel labeled “Hotel Syracuse” with the bridge to the hotel.

** If you park in the “Hotel Syracuse” lot, you will be charged more than $5/day and they will not honor our negotiated rate.
