Class Description:
Continue doing great work without taxing the delicate joints of your hands and increase your career longevity. Learn to give a full body massage using your forearms as your primary tool. The techniques can be used for deep body work and light circulatory massage. This workshop will cover body mechanics, engaging the tissue with body weight , depth and pressure, speed of strokes and developing sensitivity in your forearms. Techniques will cover prone, supine, and side-lying of the entire body.

CEH’s ​will ​be ​granted ​only ​to ​those ​who ​register ​and ​attend ​the ​entire ​class. ​No ​partial ​credit ​can/will ​be ​awarded.

Buddy Hammonds, LMT is a NY approved ​provider ​for ​continuing ​education via the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), #1000905. All credit for the class will be awarded by Buddy Hammonds.

Cancellations ​of ​more ​than ​14 ​days ​prior ​to ​a ​class ​are ​eligible ​for ​a ​refund minus a $35 administrative fee. ​Cancellations ​less ​than ​14 days ​are ​not ​refundable. ​No ​shows ​are ​not ​eligible ​for ​refund. ​Cancellations ​are ​based ​on ​post ​mark ​or ​email ​date ​and ​all ​cancellations ​must ​be ​in ​writing. ​Exceptions ​made ​only ​with ​approval ​of ​the ​AMTA-NY ​Chapter ​Board ​of ​Directors. ​Continuing ​Education ​Credit ​Certificates ​given ​only ​upon ​successful ​completion ​of ​class. ​No ​partial ​credit ​will ​be ​issued. ​Partial ​refunds ​for ​non-completed ​classes ​given ​only ​in ​emergency ​situations ​and ​with ​Chapter ​President’s ​approval. ​
